As I walked past the stream,
looking at the stars above,
thinking what to do next,
as life had been nothing more than a foul.
All my hopes were drowning,
slowly my soul began to shatter,
even the soft sand touching my bare feet,
seemed nothing more than just a dream.
It was dark, and looking for sunlight
had never been so hard,
“Nothing can be done now.”,I thought to myself,
and slowly sat down with the hope to rest.
Then suddenly I heard the giggle of a child,
splattering the water in all directions,
without any fear for correction,
it made me smile,
and forget all my fears for a while.
Then it dawned on me,
how small life was to be worried at,
one should be like a child,
full of zest and fully wild,
taking all the hardships with one big smile,
and slowly allowing our happiness to pile.
So, I walked past the stream all over again,
But this time, with a smile on my face,
With agility and grace,
There was not the slightest fear on my face. 🙂
